Dixie

We have had our little dixie for about 3 months. We got her at the pound, and now I know why.. Dixie is a mixed terrier that runs like an antelope.
When bringing her home from the pound, I was so excited. She was in the back of the car while driving home. I was playing Daughtry's "Im going Home" (it was a magical moment). When we got home, I grabbed her out of our car and noticed that she chewed on her medical record paper that the pound gave us. (now that is an important document to show to groomers etc.)
After a few days, she was the "perfect dog".. no accidents.. nothing. Until She started chewing on my Pride and Prejudice and Zombie book. ya not cute. She has left several rolls of toilet paper shredded, and has managed to eat a big mac and a chicken sandwhich (with fries) all in the same day. I know you are asking yourself, How can she do that.. I was wondering the same thing. I caught her jumping on our counter. Oh and can she jump.
Eric and I have different view points of Dixie...
Here is an example of what Eric will say about dixie..
1. There is so much love in this little body
2. Dixie fell from heaven
3. The tapeworm was just a distraction so we would think she wasn't from heaven.
4. Don't give Dixie any more benadryl!!
5. How do you spell perfect? D-I-X-I-E
6. The noodle is moving! ( referring to when she threw up a tapeworm)

Here is what I say about Dixie..
1. KSL classifieds is a great place
2. Eric.... I gave Dixie benadryl for her backward sneezes, she seems a bit tired
3. Dixie loves Benadryl
4. What have you done Dixie? (Like Jo the trainer says I should do
5. Dixie, that tapeworm is messed up
6. Craigs List is a mouse click a way
7. Dixie, stop playing with coopers toys. ( Cooper, my moms whimpy dog) Oh and last night Dixie took cooper's toy (its a dog that looks exactly like cooper) and was biting and shaking it. That can't be healthy.
8. Dixie, Toilet paper is expensive, we are in a recession.

Honestly I love our little Dixie. She tries so hard to be good. All I have to say is "Good Puppy"...

Marilyn Monroe VS Audrey Hepburn

Have you noticed ALOT lately that these two actresses are on t-shirts, posters, margarita classes (at your local ross stores, not that I would know).

Now I do have some theory of these two actresses. I do like both of them, but if you like one more than the other, than there is a trend. Here's my theory.

If you like Marilyn Monroe (if your a women)- You tend be a partier. A little bit skimpy. Some actresses that idol her, are Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan. Need I say more?

If you like Audrey Hepburn (which I do)- You might be more sophisticated, love old movies, tend to have a good sense of style. These actresses are Katie Holmes, and Angelina Jolie.

Now that you have seen my theory, I think its stupid. Why is there so many pictures of them around. I would not put Audrey or Marilyn on my walls. Am I crazy? They have passed on, and its kind of creepy. It's like getting a Michael Jackson poster, its just not right.

I guess I just want to share with you the frustration of seeing these people in every department store I go into.. Okay well the cheap ones.. but still, can I go into a store and not have to see these ladies on a purse, pens, and t-shirts. Once again this is totally my opinion. I know my blog is somewhat pointless, but It is an outlet for me to get out my frustrations. And I believe one day this fad will go out. Then it will just be Obama purses, pens, bobbleheads, and shotglasses. So until then, I guess this fad is not so bad afterall.

People read my blog?

I just found out that I have some people that actually read this blog.. I thought it was just my mom. Then I just found out that it was my cousin (favorite cousin now), and my young women leader. So in a way, I do have a good blog.

A lot of things have happened since our last entry. We moved and we have a crazy dog named Dixie.

I do want to apologize to 3 of my readers for not blogging more. Its hard when you blog and then call up your mom to have her read your blog.

I do have thoughts, and stories so I will have to share, Thanks for all the support to keep this blog going.. Goal: 1 more follower, and I will be so happy... Dad? Brooks? anyone?
