No talk about it!!!

Today was a great day until Eric and I decided to go take Dixie on a walk. I hate to say this, but I think Eric saw a different side of me. We went to crestwood park by our house, and took dixie.

I love going and walking in the park, its the best. Eric, Dix and I starting our walk, when all of a sudden I noticed a stink bug. I hate stink bugs, actually I hate every beetle! But I noticed that one was walking across the trail, I was just grateful Dixie didn't eat it ( she has a tendency to eat random things). Eric and I walked about two more feet, and there was another stink bug!

I looked around, and I kid you not, that There was stink bugs every two feet on the trail. I suddenly felt like I was in an Indiana Jones Movie, and didn't know what the heck to do. The thing was, is that ERIC was not too concerned. I have never seen so many big stinkbugs in bulk! Eric told me that they probably just hatched, and thats why we hadn't seen them on Saturday, when we went last. I was scared that a stink bug was going to land on my head, because maybe they hatch in the tree's. Trust me, my mind was going out of control. after seeing more and more, I kind of flipped out. I started walking really fast, and jumping a lot too.

The funny part about it, is that Dixie is always ahead of us to show us the way on the trail... So all of the stink bugs that we passed, were already had their bums in the air for defense. Dixie was probably so confused... All I have to say is that Im happy I am alive to tell the story.

A walk in the park....

Today has been quite a day! I got home from work today, and saw that maybe we got our tax return from the IRS. I opened up the letter, and basically it said, that we forgot to sign our tax returns, how clueless is that? We were so good about getting it out early, it was lame, but at the same time was totally hilarious.

Also today, Eric and I (and Dixie) went on a walk. We always go to crestwood park by our house, and Dixie is off leash. Now, Dixie loves this park. There is a whole field of birds that she just goes crazy for. As me and Eric were walking, we saw 6 (yes 6) baby foxes. It was crazy, and the mom was near by. Eric and I just watched them for a while. In that same area, while we were standing, there is a fence w/ some horses. Dixie, being a highly over confident dog, went up to the fence and was trying to get the horse to play. I was a little worried that Dixie would get kicked by the horse...(Dixie can be a little over bearing at times). I think Dixie was confused that the horse didn't want to play w/ her.

It was a fun and exciting walk. I do have to say Dixie is pretty worn out...Good puppy. I also want to say that Two crazy ladies needs to be updated. Come on guys, lets get on top of it :)

I have grown...

Hey everyone, well my mom and jensen's. Hey so last friday I had the opportunity to go on a "field trip" at work. We were given a chance to go to visit a lab, because it was lab week. So I went with four other girls in client services, and we got to go to the Huntsman, where there is an ARUP "surgical pathology gross lab"in the hospital. We went into the room, and I think Marne' would have died w/ the smell walking in. I walked in and saw some guy in a lab coat, rinsing what looked like a piece of steak. I had faith that I wouldn't faint.

I think watching Fringe, and see all the body parts on that TV show, has prepared me for this moment. There was a lady that took us around, and she explained that they get all the specimens from surgery. She reached into a bucket, and pulled out a uterus, that had HUGE tumor/cysts on it. It was crazy, surprisingly I did not pass out. Then she pulled out a heart that was 3 times bigger than it should (kind of like the grinch, Eric told me), and it was crazy. She showed us some intenstines, and then she said that she had something crazy in the "fridge". Ya, she pulled out this white garbage bag, with blood all inside... (keep this in mind, I passed out when a nurse drew blood from me).. she then said that this was a foot (basically from the knee down) that had gangrene. She told us that this was probably an elderly person that had a leg amputated and didn't notice it had gangrene, and that his toes were dead. She said anyone feeling "hot" should sit on the floor of the lab. I told her that I was okay( because I did not want to sit down on THAT floor). Anyway, turns out I was okay, did NOT faint. As one of the ladies in the lab walked by us, and she said, "Oh, that is what is stinkin up the fridge... That is a RIPE foot!" What a different world! When I got back from the lab, I sat down at my desk, and I was never so happy to answer phones.

BUt I was so proud of myself! I figured that if I can see that leg, that I can handle anything in life. The sad part about seeing the foot, I thought to myself, "gosh this would be a good blog post"...

brooks

Eric and I went to park city last night. As we were driving down from Parley's canyon, I could help but think of a story that Brooks told me growing up. I remember back in the days, Brooks was really mean to me.

I know many of the stories of him spitting on me from the balcony, while my parents let him tend, are hard to believe. BUT they happened! Well as we were driving down the canyon, I happened to look at those metal pipes on the mountain that go down the whole canyon. Well, while driving in the car, brooks told me that those water pipes actually are waterslides. And, that you can go down them, but if you get stuck, then you die. I know, this story sounds a little far fetched, but i believed him, and Brooks has a way of making you believe his stories. Well, I remember being terrified of those water pipes forever.

Anyway, I am just updating my blog, because I haven't written in forever. Hope all is well. And Brooks- I will get you back for all those mean stuff u did to me. I dont forget!

Petco Adventures...

Hey everyone! I am in the best mood, because Eric and I got a Kennel for Dixie. Dixie has a little bit of 'separation anxiety' when we leave. So, we decided to get a kennel to help ease the tension. Dixie and I went to Petco yesterday. I brought her with me, so I can show the workers how tall she is. Dix was a little too excited in Petco. I have learned my lesson to never bring dixie to an environment with dogs and 'smells'. I had a shopping cart in one hand, and dixie's leash in the other. Lets just say, Dixie was kind of a problem. I had to go all in the back, where there was a class training going on. She was a little disruptive for the new dogs.

After that, we went in the food aisle. I looking and comparing different food prices, when I noticed dixie was going Number 2! I was so embarrassed, but the worst part is I said, "dixie no!" and tried pulling her away from her squat, but she just kept going. So there was me cleaning up a little line of number 2 at petco. I was cleaning it up, and then it hit me, those floors probably need to be sanitized (and quick).

The kennel was the best idea ever, especially after Dixie's episode in Petco. She actually likes it! Anyway, I Hope everyone is having a good day! See ya!

My own fun day

Tonight, I decided to have a little fun shopping trip by myself. It was my own, "lindsay fun day"... I decided to go to Kohl's, and then go to Ross. I went to Kohl's and it was okay, but I didn't find any good deals.

So I went to Ross. Now, I do not need to say what Ross I actually went to, because all Ross's are the same! For instance, You always walk in and there is the "Lost Prevention" vested guy, by the shopping carts with a fake walkie talkie and ear piece. There is a lot of spanish going on in the store, to the point, when they make an announcement on the speaker, they always happen to say it in spanish. One time, Eric and I went in Ross and they happened to be playing "Hey Jude" in spanish rendition... Now, I do not complain, because for the prices, I can handle a little diversity.

Also, whenever you walk into the dressing room, there is ALWAYS 2 friends giggling about outfits, and there is always a baby crying at the top of their lungs.

I had a lot of fun tonight. I also went to Target, where I made my big purchase of body wash, and icing decorating kit. Altogether, It was a great night. Oh, I also went to TJ Max, and got a dog collar for Dix, for 3 bucks. It looks more like her. Anyways happy Easter!

drama...

I feel like I need to tell you of my latest drama, because I think Eric is sick of hearing about it. Today, I got to work, and noticed the worst pain in my left arm. It hurt so bad, that I could barely type. Now when I searched "Left" and "arm pain" it came with up with many ideas... I noticed that it could be... a heart attack, gangrene, or carpal tunnel syndrome... OF course! It all makes sense now, its probably carpal tunnel syndrome. After coming to that conclusion, I was excited to tell Eric that may be the cause, and how I didn't automatically go to the worse case scenario (Heart attack or gangrene).

I told him that I believe I have carpal tunnel syndrome, and he just started laughing. He said, there is no way I could have that, cause it takes repetitive motion for a long time, like "decades". Now, I knew this, because I of course researched it on wikipedia.com. But I told him, that I probably got it faster because I type all day, and I reach over to the "shift bar" alot. He then rolled his eyes, and begged me not to tell anyone but him.

In case you are wondering, my arm still is tender. I have taken some IB prophen, so hopefully I can go back to my normal life. Poor Eric....
