There is a few times where I walk in the room, and Eric is talking to Dixie like a person. I hear their conversation, and when I "interrupt", I find it very awkward. The other day I walked into the kitchen when Eric was telling Dixie, " If you can talk, blink your eyes twice." In the same conversation, he added, " I know you can talk dixie, I promise I won't tell anyone." Eric claimed that Dixie blinked twice.
Eric and I always try to figure out what Dixie is doing in her room, while we are gone. We have come up with many ideas of what she is "doing", for example:
Play poker with the other neighborhood dogs, break dancing, yoga, hopscotch, working out to P90x, scrapbooking, etc.( We might have too much time on our hands, but if you have any suggestions, on what you think dixie is doing in her free time, let me know!)
Eric has informed me, that Dixie would be more productive if she had "thumbs". This would be the answer to dog problems, if dixie had thumbs. She could open the door knob and let herself outside. He thinks, that she would be more independent, if only Dixie could grow some thumbs. I am so sick of hearing about the "Thumb Theory!" Anyway, don't be suprised if one day, Dixie comes to visit with implant thumbs. Have a good one everybody!

I think Dixie is in her room sound asleep and dreaming of having thumbs! Not really...I think she is just grateful to have a nice home and no more tapeworms. :)
I think Dixie is a spy from another country (where she got her tapeworm) I agree with Eric that she probably can communicate with him and if "THE BOSS" finds out she is communicating with "the enemy" DIXIE and ERIC are going to be in a lot of trouble! All the gangsta dogs are going to come and bark at your condo and then you will be kicked out and homeless because your mom won't let you move in with her!
Just my theory . . .(didn't get much sleep last night either, so take it for what it's worth!)
