I am watching the speed skating right now as we speak. I get really frustrated at this sport, and I was told maybe that I voice my opinion to much. First, are Asians the only people that can skate? Is that one of the requirements for speed skating... Apparently there is really good ice in Korea. Anywho, my biggest complaint, is that they spend so much effort in pointing their skates when they are crossing the finish line. Wouldn't it be better if they didn't slow down and point their skate? I don't know, I think its weird...
Just another night at the Petersen home. Watching the Olympics, watching dixie drop her toy from the bed and grab it on the floor, then go back on the bed(for the millionth time), and just trying not to go crazy.

Apollo said the Koreans start training very young, he was surprised when he went to visit there. They don't seem to enjoy it as much. Just my own opinion. Sounds like little Dixie has her own ocd problems going on. Maybe she is spending too much time in the spare bedroom...looking out the window.
I was just going to say that Dixie could be having some OCD issues!!!! Great minds think alike! HAHA!
And, how would you know what the Koreans are enjoying or not enjoying? They don't smile . . .ever! Sad really.
I totally agree with you when they put their little foot out front to cross the line. It looks kind of silly. I think the Koreans and the Chinese are all really 12 years old and are groomed since birth to race. If they don't win they are probably shot.
